Newstead Christian School, situated in the northern suburbs of Launceston, offers a faith-based education from Kindergarten through Year 10. Mr. Glenn Mace became the full-time Principal of Newstead Christian School in January 2025, having served as Interim Principal for most of 2022. He brings valuable experience from his previous role as a Year 11/12 Home Room Teacher and TASC Coordinator at Geneva Christian College. Passionate about Christian education, Mr. Mace is committed to fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment. Outside of school, he enjoys running, swimming, fishing, and camping.

Annual tuition fees at Newstead Christian School range from $2,800 for Kindergarten to $6,100 for Grades 9–10. A one-off family bond of $1,000 is charged upon the first enrolment, along with a $50 application fee (refunded if successful). Generous sibling subsidies apply, with 50% off for the second child, 75% off for the third, and 85% off for the fourth and subsequent children.
